System and method for recognition, control and management of online exams


The invention is in the field of information technology and relates to a system and method for online electronic examination with full recognition of the participant in the online exam being conducted, control over the environment in which the exam is conducted (room, table, desk), with the application of information security tools and technologies, using big data devices and artificial intelligence technologies.  

Description

The system consists of five main blocks interconnected by a two-way TCP/IP connection: 

  1. Mobile computer unit – the device that the participant uses for the exam (for example, a laptop or tablet). 
  2. Big data block with participant recognition – uses big data analysis technologies and artificial intelligence to identify the participant. 
  3. Dynamic question and answer sorting block – automatically selects and sorts questions and answers during the exam. 
  4. Cryptographic operations block – ensures data and communication security through encryption. 
  5. Network block – manages communication between the mobile computing block and the rest of the system, providing a GSM connection. 

The three blocks – big data, dynamic question and cryptographic operations – form the logical central part of the system, to which the mobile computer unit is connected via the network block. 

Method for conducting the exam 

The method is implemented in several stages: 

  1. Online registration of the participant – the student registers for the exam in the system. 
  2. Initial recognition of the participant and verification of his rights – the system verifies the identity of the participant and whether he has the right to take the exam. 
  3. Conducting the exam with periodic recognition of the participant and the environment for conducting the exam – during the exam, the system continuously checks whether the participant is the same and controls the environment (for example, whether prohibited materials or devices are used). 
  4. Subsequent training with the accumulated data – the system uses the collected information to improve the process and security of future exams.
